1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Personal Finance Calculator Go ("PFC Go", "we", "us", "our") at pfcgo.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These Terms apply to all users, including those who use PFC Go without an account (guest users), free account holders, and paid subscribers.

2. The service

PFC Go is a web-based personal finance calculator application that provides tools to model mortgage repayments, savings goals, retirement projections, debt payoff strategies, and other financial scenarios. The service includes:

• Ten financial calculators accessible without an account
• Optional account creation to save plans and sync across devices
• Paid subscription plans (Pro and Adviser) with additional features
• An Adviser tier supporting multiple client profiles and branded PDF exports

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

3. Not financial advice

PFC Go provides financial calculations for information purposes only. Nothing in the service constitutes regulated financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or any other form of regulated advice under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA) or any other applicable law.

• Calculations are based on the inputs you provide and standard financial formulas
• Results are illustrative — real-world outcomes depend on your specific product terms, interest rates, and personal circumstances
• PFC Go does not recommend specific financial products, mortgages, funds, or investments by name
• Always verify important financial decisions with a qualified, FCA-regulated adviser

PFC Go is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Use of this service does not create an adviser-client relationship.

4. Accounts and eligibility

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. PFC Go is not directed at children under 13 — see our Privacy Policy for details.

Account responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately at support@pfcgo.com if you suspect unauthorised access
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You may not share your account or credentials with others

Account accuracy

You may use a nickname or pseudonym — we do not require your real name. However, you must provide a valid email address to receive essential account communications.

5. Plans and billing

Free plan

The free plan is provided at no cost and includes access to all ten calculators and one saved plan. Free features may change with notice.

Paid plans

Pro (£2.99/month) and Adviser (£19/month) plans are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing:

• You authorise recurring charges to your payment method
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You can cancel at any time via My Account → Manage subscription — access continues until the end of the billing period
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers

Adviser plan

The Adviser plan is intended for financial professionals and coaches managing client relationships. You are responsible for ensuring your use of client profiles complies with applicable professional regulations and data protection laws, including any obligations under GDPR regarding data you process on behalf of clients.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or other users' accounts
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the service
• Use automated tools to send requests at a rate exceeding normal human usage
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
• Use the service to store or transmit malicious code
• Impersonate PFC Go or any other person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

7. Intellectual property

PFC Go, its name, logo, and all content, software, and functionality are owned by or licensed to Personal Finance Calculator Go and are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the service for your personal or professional financial planning purposes. This licence does not include:

• Copying or reproducing the service or its content for commercial purposes
• Reselling or sub-licensing access to the service
• Removing any copyright or proprietary notices

Your financial data — the numbers, goals, and plans you enter — belongs to you. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

8. Your data

Your use of PFC Go is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:

• You can download all your data at any time via My Account → Download my data
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via My Account → Delete my account
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• Data is stored securely in the EU (Supabase)

9. Disclaimers and liability

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results from the calculators will be accurate for your specific circumstances.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PFC Go shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to financial decisions made based on calculator outputs.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and governing law) will continue to apply.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify signed-in users via an in-app notice and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of PFC Go after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

For significant changes that materially affect your rights, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new Terms take effect.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer located in another jurisdiction, you may also have rights under local consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded by this clause.
