Is PFC Go really free?
+
Yes. Our free calculators — salary, mortgage, pension, investment, credit card, stamp duty, inflation and more — are available with no account required. Our Pro plan (£7.99/mo or £59.99/yr) unlocks advanced planning tools, additional calculators, personalised plans, PDF exports and scenario comparison. You can get a lot of value without ever paying anything.
Do I need to create an account?
+
No. You can use all the calculators immediately, no sign-up needed. Create a free account when you want to save your profile and plans across devices — it takes about 30 seconds.
Do I need to use my real name or personal details?
+
No — and we'd encourage you not to. PFC Go works entirely on the numbers you enter. You don't need to tell us who you are for the calculations to be accurate.
Feel free to sign up with a nickname, a generic email address, or any name you're comfortable with. The salary, mortgage balance, and savings figures you enter are yours — they never leave your account and are never linked to your identity by us.
We don't want your personal data. We want to help you understand your money. If using a pseudonym makes you more comfortable, please do.
Is my financial data safe?
+
Your data is stored securely in the cloud, protected so only your account can access it. We never sell or share your data. You can export or delete your data at any time from your account settings.
Is this regulated financial advice?
+
No. PFC Go provides financial calculations and modelling based on the numbers you enter — it is not regulated financial advice. We help you understand your options and the implications of different decisions. For personalised regulated advice, speak to a qualified financial adviser.
How accurate are the calculations?
+
Our calculators use standard financial formulas and up-to-date UK tax rates, National Insurance thresholds, and student loan repayment rules. Results are illustrative — real-world figures depend on your specific product terms, interest rates, and circumstances. Always verify key decisions with your lender or adviser.
Which student loan plans are supported?
+
We support Plan 1, Plan 2, and Plan 4 (Scotland), including postgraduate loans. The calculator accounts for income-contingent repayments, write-off timelines, and effective interest rates — and tells you whether overpaying is worth it based on your salary and debt level.
Can I use it on my phone?
+
Yes — PFC Go works on any device with a browser. It's also a Progressive Web App (PWA), so you can add it to your home screen on iOS and Android for a full app-like experience, including offline access.

I found a bug or want to request a feature — how do I get in touch?
+
Use the
Contact link in the app, or email us at
support@pfcgo.com. We're a small team and we read everything — bug reports and feature requests genuinely influence what we build next.
Will you add more calculators?
+
Yes. We ship new tools regularly — and our existing suite already covers salary, mortgage, pension, FIRE, IHT, buy-to-let, self-employment, career moves, income protection, and more. If there's a calculation you need that we don't have,
let us know.
